As you might have noticed I like to throw one or two songs with a different genre into the mix, and that’s because I started playing with beatmixing as an allround deejay and now I have the skills and equipement to make those funny transitions between drum and bass and hip-hop, for example, that I tried to make then.
Today I clicked the record button playing around with chill, mostly hip-hop in combination with some relaxing drum and bass. And the result is at least interesting to listen to. But to really mix the two genres I’d need twice the equipement I have to play with four decks. Two for a continues sound of drum and bass, and two for the rapflow of hip-hop.
